I just filed my 2005 taxes and sent them in by mail on 2-13-07.
I had prepared all previous years with Turbotax and filed electronically. Except for last year. I want to file my 2006 but it was rejected because of wrong AGI. Should I use the AGI from the last one I filed electronically ? which was 2004 which I have in my records is that the AGI I should use as my last electronic signature for my e-filing ?

You need to use the AGI from your 2005 return. If you haven't filed your 2005 return and have just mailed it in, the IRS will not have a record yet of what your 2005 AGI was. You can try entering 0 and see if the system accepts it. If not, you cannot e-file and then you will need to mail in your return.

Since your 2005 return has probably not been processed, you can try 0 and see if it works. If it doesn't, you can't electronically sign your return. You can still e-file but will have to mail in the signed transmittal document with the W2s attached to it.
