No you do not need an anemone for your clown fish. The purpose of the anemone for a clown fish in the wild is that it keeps the clown fish safe from larger predators. This fish is unique because it can withstand the venomous stings from the anemone. As you may have figured....there shouldn't be any predators in your saltwater tank at all! Therefore, there is no need for the anemone. Although it does make your tank look a little more natural :)

No unless you have other fish that would harm it. I suggest that you keep the water clean and feed the clown fish when it needs to be fed. The anenome is just a plant that protects the clown fish. You could buy it if you want to. Have good luck!

NO. Tank bred fish often don't. So long as the water is healthy, the fish will be fine.
