how do you get your parents to get you a pet pig?

i love pigs too, just promise them somrething like good grades or you will take care of the pig or just sweet talk your parents:)

A lot of areas will not allow you to own a pig, check zoning laws in the area AND believe me, I hav two dogs and that's A LOT of work. I imagine a pig would be much the same, except where do you kennel it if your family goes on vacation? Dog kennels can't take pigs...

Sorry to be a downer but you really need to consider all the details when making a committment to an animal. :)

EW. Hope that some hillbillies adopt you and maybe then you have a chance. No parent is going to get you a pig based on it being cute. They stink and make terrible messes. Believe me...pigs aren't like Wilbur from the book Charlotte's Web.

my dad knew someone who had a pig
they arent dirty if properly trained and are loving animals, also really cute and are probably easier to keep than a dog
they can easily be kept as animals
i just need to convince my dad to let me get a duck
