No i was using vista at tafe and it sucked. It took 50 mint o install when xp took 25 min, it took 10gb on the hard drive where XP only used 700 - 800mb. It does not look that good and i did not find it user friendly, as well as it had heaps of bugs.
I am using windows XP media center on my laptop and ubuntu 6.10 on my desktop. if you want to upgrade i would suggest either getting fedora core 6 (7 is comming out soon) or ubuntu 6.10 they are heaps better than windows ever will be.

Well, Office 2007 on my Test Box, and it sucks big time.
I have seen Vista on various machines and yuck, it sucks hardware resources. About the only thing is Vista sure looks pretty. Like someone said, its the Windows ME of this period.
And office 2007... only Access is easier to use.

not me,i bought it, tried it hated that it had too many problems from not letting me connect to the internet,to automatically turning the sound off on its own,and thats the easy part.the thing i hate the most is that it ask you over and over every time you do the simplest thing like installing a game or even uninstalling something,it treats you like you are retarded and dont know better.very very very time consuming, thats why i just threw it away and installed windows xp.
