For some reason windows xp is huge. How do I shrink it? I tried to change it by the resolution but it appears to be ok. How do I shrink the browser and everything else?

Go to the accessibility Option in Control and see if the Zoom Option is checked; Something might have changed there in those settings

Try going into Control Panel, Appearance adn Themes, Display, then choose the Appearance tab
on the lower right you'll see: Advanced
Click that and then change the Icon spacing and size and whatever else you want to change in there.

easiest way is to
right click on the desktop
Properties
Settings tab then you will see
Screen resolution just move it to the size you want
