I assume since Rock Hudson came out, that he was the first big name entertainer who was a closet homosexual. Since then, there have been tons of entertainers "outed", or suspected of it. If the mannerisms are there that set off someone's "gaydar", why don't the suspected persons come out? The cat's out of the bag, most of the time. It was really crazy that Doogie Howser, the child-doctor from the late-80's/early 90's ABC show, recently came out. Now, they are saying Kenny Chesney, and American Idol's Ryan Seacrest are getting high readings on people's "gaydar".
Why don't they just come out and show their true colors, if they're gay?

I admire celebs who are brave enough to come out. I don't like all these rumors that people start. It seems every male celeb who's even slightly attractive is accused of being gay at some point.

this is a dreadful fable, it is so properly-perpetuated that there is a asserting which suits "heterosexuals fall in love, homosexuals have intercourse", which potential homosexual human beings are not able to falling into and feeling love. it is this ignorant perception that gays do no longer sense love which inspires human beings to continuously look at homosexuality in basic terms as a intercourse act somewhat of being the valid orientation that this is. definite there are some homosexual human beings who in basic terms want as many conquests as obtainable, yet there's a exceptional purchase greater heteros like that too (ought to be, because they are interior the final public), it is not unique to gays.

They don't come out of the closet because of all the bigotry and hate that exists in this world. Intolerant and judgmental people abound. I also believe that they fear coming out would absolutely destroy their career. Hell Rock Hudson's publicist told him to get married when he realized his star client was gay, and so he did, of course the marriage did not last, and oddly his career did.

Because they probably wouldn't have landed the acting job in the first place. They needed to be well established before risking everything.
