I mean, people get way to serious, and its so stupid because all of it was just made up by some old fools who are dead now. They actually get upset if their boyfreind/girlfreind is not a good match for their "sign". Don't you think its retarded for some dude who doesn't know you to tell you what your personality is?

It may be "fun" in a way sometimes, but no one should get too in depth with it.

To answer tereka's question, no i'm picses, and i think my personality description is lame cause it doesn't describe me at all.

I think it is more or less fun for most people. I do not think any sane thinking person would run their life around it. I, to answer your question that you asked me on my question find it interesting and although allot of the information that you receive is very generalized have pegged people's signs based on there personality's. You are right about not trusting just anyone...most astrology that we are exposed to is just a very lose interpretation of the real thing. Serious people get all their planets charted and the true picture is based on where all the planets were at your birth and in what sign each one was in. It is actually quite involved. You seem intelligent and I would recommend you get a proper chart done of yourself before you YAH or NEH it..........has you probably haven't even experienced the real thing.

I'm sure those old fools who are dead now - you know, like Copernicus, Nostradamus, Einstein, and numerous American presidents as well as numerous Popes and a bazillion rich people who made their fortunes by employing astrology are all having a good laugh right about now and asking, "And what the heck do you know anyway?
Lastly, don't give up. Some of the greatest astrologers became so because they set out to debunk it in the first place. So unless you want to argue with the likes of Einstein who said "Do not speak to me of astrology, for I have studied it, you have not, I suggest you start studying. You can't condemn that which you know absolutely nothing about. And it's not about whether your boyfriend/girlfriend is a good match for their "SUN sign". That's just the tip of the iceberg. Saying all Libras, for example are good matches for Geminis is like saying all white girls are good matches for Catholics. Neither statement makes any sense at all. What's retarded is when you're ignorant and don't care to learn. And yeah, it's retarded for some dude who doesn't know you to tell you what your personality is if they're not qualified to do so. You made your point so go somewhere else where things make a lot more sense to you. None of us believers put down you unbelievers for not believing in this stuff. It's only lame if you percieve it to be. But it is a little silly that some people whould base their lives around a daily horoscope. I use astrology to find the traits and behavior of people, not to find love matches or any of that; I believe in finding love on your own.

Agree with you. In general horoscopes are indicating the behavior of persons and nothing more. There is a big scientific explanation about how the planets are influencing the new Born baby but also there is a disagreement for it that states" Not when the baby has Born but since when started his/her life as embryo".

Yes, but at times it really is ironic how much it matches your real personality.
I know as a child , my gramma went by the signs of the MOON to plant her garden....and im tellin ya , if she DIDNT, everything went WAY off!

So , just maybe there IS something to when and under the sign you were born, not exactley supersticious, but i think there may be something to it.

actually if u go further into it its not just created by a bunch of old fools who are dead now, the practice has been very modernized and involves using patterns in the sky to relate to patterns in society or in a single person.

i whole heartidly agree with you on the sun sign matchups. sun sign matchups are not accurate enough to live your life by them. the way i see it you can live your life trying to figure out whats going to happen ... or you can just go out and see it happen for yourself.

to toss it out completly is absurd ... but so is planning your entire life out by it ... i think i'll stay somewhere in the middle ....
