Im on my work computer now, but my labtop at home will not get on the internet, AIM or download songs. It says there is no server found and on music downloads it says no host found. What could be wrong and how can I get it to work? Its never done this before.

Well your not saying anything about your connection. Do you have broadband by Cable or DSL or modem by phone line?

Sounds like you lost your connection with your ISP goto network connections in the control panel and see if you can find a repair connection by right clicking on the main ISP connection. If not call your service provider and ask for help, there should be no charge for that. Good luck.

you can do a few things.
if you have lately installed any new software you can try to select a system restore point prior to that download.
when you start up windows? if you hit f8 repeatedly until a list of options appear....select start computer using last known good configuration.
check to see if you have a driver installed for your modem
