When do you think US will win a World Cup?

I think the US is closer than a lot of folks to winning. They don't have much creativity yet, but they have pace and the counter attack is quick.
I think the problem is coaching and preparing.
I'd like to see a certain German running things, and if that happened, I think 2014 is possible - a stretch to be sure, but possible.
I think the US is developing players at a quicker rate than England to be honest.

I think they have the talent to get to one and maybe even win one. 2002 they had a great chance to MAYBE get there but the ref blow the call. I support the team and i think in the next four world cups we will win one. We have a lot of good players playing all over the world and that helps us a lot. And remember we have great team chemistry because Team USA always plays great team football.

well soccer in the US has improved alot since the 94' world cup, but this past world cup, it took a huge step back, everyone thought that they would be alot more competitive, well i dont know. they need to use all their money and bring more superstars to the mls and maybe that way they can improve a bit, cause i find it very difficult for them to send players to europe.

Honestly never. It is sad, but we are too focused on Football and Baseball. Kids in other countries grow up playing soccer in the street every day. You never see that here in the United States. We are not dedicated to soccer like most other countries are.
Our woman's team, however, rocks!!!

in the 2006 world cup , usa scored the first real goal(not last touched by USA player) and tied italy 1 to 1. i think usa is getting there and will pass french first

usa soccer is an oxymoron.
i have many american frenz here in bkk, and all they do is talk abut the superbowl, and baseball, and back to football again.
i dont think soccer is very poplar in the states.
