What governments offer respite care and pay for family carers?

I am trying to find other countries apart from the UK that offers respite care for people who look after a member of the family and needs vacations. And also if there are any governments that pay a weekly wage for those family members that can't work and have to stay at home with the person they are caring for.

The U.S. goverment offers a similar program.
