When do I start counting my cycle days? When I started spotting or when (sorry to be graphic) it really started flowing?

actually you start counting the day you start bleeding not spotting..this is considered day 1 of your cycle~~

According to the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler, Day 1 of your cycle is the first day of actual flow. Spotting does not count.

The first day is the day you start any kind of bleeding, spotting included.
