yea! conspiracy theory time!
maybe it's a subliminal way of telling us that it is better to answer questions regardless of if you have any knowledge on the subject, than to ask questions that might upset the powers that be.
or maybe it's so people won't ask why we have to have a black history month for the 20 millionth time because they didn't get enough minority bashing in the first time around.
maybe it's just random, silly, and at least it's helping me quit smoking by keeping my hands and mind busy when i'm having a nic fit!

It makes it more of a game with points. I'm more of a best answers percentage person, but it's gone down since I started hanging out in polls and surveys.

for every action there must be a reaction. therefore when one receives a reward for answering questions for imparting the wisdom and knowledge one has then one must spend what one has earned to gain wisdom and knowledge for themselves
