Snorkeling, swimming, bar hopping, shopping, diving, sailing, golf, tennis, on and on. A less expensive island and one easier to drive on since there are far less tourists is St Croix only 40 miles away. It has all the same emenities but less expensive and easier to drive around or get driven around on an island tour. It is still prestine. St John is also extremely prestine and is just a few miles by ferry from St Thomas. I like St Croix, because it is the middle. It has both, good shopping and prestine beaches. St Thomas has a whole lot of traffic in the tourist areas and is mobbed by cruise ships.
