There is a girl who is soft-spoken, caring, quiet, pretty much keeps to herself, talks occasionally or just talks when spoken to. You would consider this girl a friend of the same sex. She seems nice but it's hard to get to know her. She seems really comfortable with email though and lately she has been slowly revealing more about herself when she writes to you. Yet, she still remains quiet and soft-spoken when you see her but will always greet you with a smile or a hello.

SO: Would you think it was weird that she can reveal more things in an email rather than verbally? Would you be flattered, turned off, intrigued by the emails? How would you react to her in person?

It isn't weird at all. If you are nice to her, after she opens up to you via e-mail, she will begin to trust you in person. She is looking to see how you react when she opens up to you. She may be mortified if you are mean to her in person. But if you laugh at her e-mail it doesn't matter so much as long as you are nice to her when you are with her. Eventually, she will come to a point where she believes you do not laugh at her when she e-mails you and will comfortable talking with you in person.

Hello, rather than face to face she mite feel better and more free to be herself while in front of her computer talking to others.this is very common and not at all strange.I am thing she need to feel more secure about herself and confident, headstrong and head up ,be strong and bold .care only what she feels about herself and not some about what other think, encourage her to reveal herself more, that is what friends are for making other friends comfortable.thanks for listening ,your truly chip

She seems to be more comfortable with e-mails|

That's perfectly OK, e-mail is simply another form of communication|
