The Wii's from europe are prepared for a higher voltage than what is in America. Providing you have a special volt converter you should be fine. You'll also need a Freeloader for the wii (which isn't out yet) to be able to play us games on the european console.

I am sooo sorry dude, I am looking for one too, but I have to tell you that european appliances wont work in the US ( and vice versa). And I've been using something called wiifinder, search for it on a search engine. It tells you what stores will be having it when, but it will still be hard. The dream is so close bro! lol

It wont work that good. I suggest to buy on in the US I suggest Circuit City. It needs an automatic adapter.

no ....because nintendo have sent out a update which region locks the console depending on the type (eg... a euro console is now euro locked) this was to stop people buying virtual console games from other country's
