I saw clips of it and i remember watching it as a kid.
i always thought that it was amazing.

I've seen the original movie version of it which was good, but I'm not all that big a fan of some of the "modern" things they put in it. I've seen the new version on Broadway and that was good but again, a little too "modern" for my taste. In addition to that, I've been performing in Jesus Christ Superstar locally pretty much since 1994. We did it as our annual musical in high school in 1994 and then I auditioned for the chorus with a local theater group, Midnight Productions Inc., in 1995 and have been doing it ever since. I did miss one year because I had a baby and we were unable to get the rites to the show a few years back and again this year. We're doing Godspell in it's place...should be interesting.
Oh...and did I mention that we also did a Christmas show starring Barry Dennen...the guy who played Pontius Pilate in the movie? That was awesome.

I've seen several productions of it - both movies and on stage. It was groundbreaking when it first was staged, and it's still very good. Excellent music.

It was one of the worst movies ever. I will never watch that hippie musical again.

A really amazing movie- good songs & good direction. It's one of my faves and I'm in no way religious!

had to watch it in grade 7 religion class wasn't as bad as i thought it would be.
