That makes no sense. Why would she want to become celibate? If she doesn't want to give her husband what he needs and deserves (it's a natural part of life), then she should be ready to sign divorce papers. You can't expect a relationship to survive without intimacy. It's probably the most important aspect of a relationship.

I have to say DITTO to this:

If I have been those men that say recover from it and in simple terms take care of it i might verify my self right into a loony bin. i'm able to comprehend the she has desires and that they might desire to be respected. yet for crying out loud you have desires too. and you at the instant are not any much less of a guy or woman than your spouse is. there isn't any reason to cut back sexual intercourse out in simple terms via fact you're on your 50's. perhaps she will't swing from the chandelier like she became in a position to twenty-5 years in the past yet some thing is incorrect i might make an appointment which incorporate your Dr and flow consult from him on my own in case you will desire to and ask him for suggestion. Then based what on what he says make a call on what steps to make after that. communicate on your spouse in a loving manor and clarify which you have desires that would desire to be respected as nicely as her desires.

Divorce her quick. What she probably means is she wants to do Felipe the pool man while you're at work, or the big fat biker chick down the street.
She might not like the look of her man anymore, but for some reason doesn't notice the 150 lbs. she's added on to her own rear end.
Divorce her and give her nothing but a swift kick in the butt...marry her better looking little sister!

SInce you are a female and is asking this, there could only be two reasons you are asking for:
1) It is you, and you are wondering what your husband will do. If so -- he should divorce you, and you would get very little in the settlement.
2) It is what some married guy who wants to sleep with you is telling you to get you in bed, and he is a liar! Run away! Or, better yet -- tell his wife!

The only good answer in here was Lil EarlE. Marriage is more than just sex people. It is nurturing and caring, loving unconditionally. I do not need sex to be happy. Sex is overrated, it is possible to have a fantastic relationship without all the hoopla. I would say talk to the hand!!

There is no "should"...it's up to the individual to decide. However if the situation were reversed and my partner told me he wanted to become celibate, I'd wish him well and be on my way.

Hell get an affair because I have an excuse that is solid as gold! If she could break her vows and commit such a sin then I would definitely have an affair. Even in front of her face. Hope she wouldn't mind if I bring my girlfriend home as well because its very uncomfortable at hotels the sneaking around thing its not that much fun.
