Blowing A Raspberry Sound

Ok. Some people are not really thinking about this carefully.
If you are blowing on the raspberry, it is close to your mouth, right?
So, when you blow the air you are not making a "p" or "b" sound, first of all, do you? No! You make a "F" sound.
So, to start out, it will be "F..."
But, if the raspberry is close enough to your mouth, some of the air will circulate back, because it will be blocked by some of the bumps on the raspberry. This will probably create a kind of "Fb..." sound. It will not be a "p" because you have to INITIATE the "p" sound from your mouth. A "b" might be created as the two currents of air collide.
So, I think it will be something like "Fffbffbbffffbfbfbfbfsthbbfbbfffb"
Notice, a small "s" or "th" or "s/th" blend NOT coming from your mouth, but ocurring naturally as a sound effect from the currents of air escaping around the IMPERFECT crevices of the raspberry.
Mostly "F" sounds with some "B" sounds and a few "S/TH" sounds. No "P" sounds. No "Z" sounds either--there is nothing vibrating.
Ok?

I wonder how many actually blew a raspberry before they got the proper spelling, do you realise you are responsible for a whole load of spit all over the place by you asking that question.

The correct word is BLURT. Some joke shops still sell 'Blurters'.

They comprise a small nozzle to which is attached a short length of flattened rubber tube. Blowing through the nozzle replicates the sound of a raspberry, a 'Blurt'.

Originally shepherds used them to call in their flocks.

Blurters are similar to 'whoopee' cushions.

ONOMATOEPIA can not be applied to a raspberry.

I've seen it spelled in comics this way:
ppbbbbbtt
But wouldn't it depend on the way it was executed?
