The problem is everyone wants to be the first with the best,
I someone asked if i would like a jacket or Pant's or shoes that were better than the ones i have i would thank them and consider myself lucky i have a good freind like that.
getting your nose out of joint because someone wished to be kind to you, is dumb.

I LOVE hand me downs because my friends tend to give me things they can't fit into anymore because of baby weight. They have awsome taste and spend good money on the clothes so why not wear em?

If I can't use it, then I would give it to charity or sell them at a resale / consignment shop.

I'd take them if I would actually wear them! I have a couple friends who are obsessed with buying clothes so if they outgrow them or never wear them and want to give them to me, that's less money I have to spend.

I would take it.... why would you assume that someone was feeling sorry for you just cause they give you something that isnt exactly new! if you would give it back then that would be described as ungrateful!

Depends on what it is, technology like an xbox or PS2, then I would accept and thank a lot. but pants, I would still thank for, but almost never wear them

my aunt does that to me all the time with her baby stuff.
