Yes... in the end though, when it all came together it became clear that it was a movie that had a bountiful amount of ridiculousness.

Avatar is a movie thats been going on for 14 years and will be made from 60% VFX and 40% real...which is why all this hype for it has grown. very basically, it's about some people that land in a different world with blue people. The other Avatar movie based on the TV show is going to be called The Last Airbender probably so people don't so confused.

I was confused at first. But the more I thought about it the more I liked it. Jackman was obsessed with Bale, Caine was right that Bale was using a Double but Jackman couldn't see the logic in that. It drove him to use the device that Tesla built for him and during each performace he used the device Jackman wasn't sure if he'd be the one on stage basking in the glory or if he'd be the one that was dropped into the watertank and left to drown.

Nope, thought it was brilliant. Figured it out 2/3 of the way through.
Christian Bale was using a double and Hugh Jackman was cloning himself with the device, hence all the hats in the forest near the lab and the tanks with the bodies (he killed the clone during each performance) because he wanted to be on-stage for the glory instead of sharing it with a double.

Of course. If you stick with it and use your brain(not to popular with movie goers these days), it will make sense.
Chris Nolan is a fantastic director (Prestige, Batman Begins, Insomnia, Memento). Not a bad start.

That movie was awesome. Yeah, I was confused for a little while, but heck, in the end I was like, I'm watchin' this one again!!!
Hugh Jackman is AWESOME!!!!!
