Yes, I seen an article in Cosmo with celebrities including Jessica Simpson and Lindsey Lohan wearing it. It's just a trend. Trends come and go. I like the look myself as long as it isn't chipped. Black matches just about any outfit.

Black nail polish has been in for awhile now. One of the tricks is to keep the nails short. It doesn't look the same on long nails. It's not considered Goth and lots of celebrities are wearing it too. Don't forget to do your toes too. Nothing looks worse that black fingernails and pink toenails.

Well, i think its just fun to wear. It is also prom season. Do you know what that means? Figuring out the perfect nail polish that will go with your dress. This is done the entire year before! I think the whole black nail polish for fun is sad... but i have nothing against it.

I think Black nail polish is in because alot of actors and singers have been wearing it, but if you wear it, i suggest you you only put 1 layer because very dark black is not as nice!!

I like it, I used to wear it about 20 years ago, I do not think I can pull that off at 4? because if your hands are a teensy bit wrinkly the black might magnify that a great deal.

well yeah. blak is a really cool color and i am not a goth person. i am a normal popular preppy type person. it is in for some reason. blak and white also look good together on nails. like the tips of ur nails and stuff.

Styles change but they change back and forth.What is in now will go out and in a few years it will be back,so black polish was out and worn usually by goths,but now it's back.

Yes it is in!!! Essie has a black called Licorice. If you are not a fan of black black OPI has a polish called black tie. It looks black but it has a purple/brown shimmer. Really HOT!!

yep i love black nail polish. just remember to get it done professionally. cause it looks trashy and gothic if its done badly. i think it looks very modern and sophisticated:)
