i just noticed about two hours ago that i have small red tiny red bumps on my tongue. tighter clusters by the tip of my tongue, and then they spread out as the tongue goes futher back. they arent painful, but they look like little pimples. on the opposite side of my tongue around the connector there are about 13 larger bumps. could this be an allergic reaction? i have had 2 warts on my toe, my potiatrist says that i have a strain of hpv. would that cause the bumps? please help. im very worried.

Don't be worried those are just your taste bites sometimes if you eat something salty or spicey the turn really red. But if it gets swollen then go to the doctor. Hope I helped! Vote me as best answer please!

This happens to me on occasion. Swish 10% hydrogen peroxide solution in your mouth. Do not swallow. Follow the directions on the bottle to ensure it is the type o.k. to gargle with.

They are your taste buds. EVERYONE has them. THey may be swollen. You might have burned your tongue, eaten something really sugary, or salty.
