Don't feed it for a while then secure the thing to a monitor with a tape loop on it. A very long tape loop with people alternately eating, and lolling their tongues out.

I'm going to assume (since you didnt provide any more info) that you have a biter. Ferrets can be trained not to bite. My Xev came to me as a biter from hell :P She would try to rip any part of flesh she could get her little teeth on. Now she is a kissy ferret and rarely bites. What you have to do it scruff him/her when they bite you and say NO very firmly. If your fuzzy is biting really hard then use your nails when you're scruffin. Enough for them to feel it but not enough to hurt them. Also while scruffed drag him/her a little on the ground. That way you are showing dominance. You have to be patient and with time your fuzzy will learn it's not ok to bite. If you're dealing with a baby ferret it should be a lot easier to train him/her not to bite. If it is an older fuzzy just give him/her more time to learn. Oh and get ferrets for dummies. It's a great soarce of info for any ferret owner.

As a ferret therapist I can tell you there's no easy answer here.
Try a timeout instead of a beating. Or take away his video game priveledges for a week.

You can't cruelty to animals is punishable by law. You can beat yourself silly all you want or like. Letting him watch is punishment enough. lol (see you in court)
