I work for a general contractor. there seems to be financial problems?

what is the law regarding the following: my paycheck bounces alot, we can't schedule jobs because he can't pay vendors for materials, customers are calling and cancelling demanding deposit money back and he can't pay. what is the law???

Your guess would be correct. Get out. Get out now! If your payroll checks are bouncing, then my guess is that the taxes are probably not paid on a timely basis either. The law is would look at this and have a field day. Hopefully he is not filing or providing falsified financial documents to get jobs and secure funding.

You should be ok as long as you are not a signer on any of the bank accounts that the company has.
