To me the best band ever would have to be Red Hot Chili Peppers. The whole band is great at everything. And I don't care what you haters think about them. But who do you like.

i agree they are great. but i would say led zeppelin was the greatest rock band ever. they were all so talented at what they did, singing, bass, drums, guitar.

RHCP are good, but far too new to be classed as "best ever".
You need to look into the past at bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and of course, The Beatles etc.

Well they're MY favorite band, but I don't really think you can pick a best band ever. If you were going to, you'd also have to take into account zeppelin, pink floyd, the stones, the beatles....etc

They inspired millions to pick up instruments by taking the music of America and bringing it back to them.
