No I do not think that Phil taylor is past his best. He is just going through a bad patch at the minute & trust me this guy will most defenately be back & back to his best soon.
He will beat Barney again as another post said they are going to meet on to many occasions throught the darting year at different tournaments.

I think Barney is the best player in the world today but Taylor will beat Barney again, they'll meet too many times for him not to.
Taylor's best days might still be ahead of him, Barney will make him improve his game.
