It shouldn't be too long, and I also need a poem but the novel is needed more. It can be a negative or positive media influence.

Have I got the novel for you! "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk. You need to read this book. It is a fun read, and a very wonderful take on the state of American media today.

Chuck Palahniuk (I may be spelling his name wrong) is the guy who wrote 'Fight Club.' 'Lullaby' is my favorite book of his.

Another really great book is 'Jennifer Government' By Max Barry. Very fun. Very damning look at how media does all it can to control our impulses.

Please don't just quote these books in a bibliography. Read them! They are really great reads!
