For nostalgia's sake - they were one of the biggest (or at least most talked about) bands in the 1990s. I thought they were overrated. If you heard one of their songs, you heard them all!

Some stupid reasons:
To run over it with a car
To use the album as a frisbee
Sleep aid
It was on sale - really cheap

:)

I Didn't buy the vinyl, but i bought the cd cuz i like the music. i drove a car off a cliff (accidentally) while it was playing. makes that cd pretty memorable to me. :-) I guess it is a good thing everyone has a different preference in music...what a boring world it would be if we all liked the same 10 songs, heh?

my cousin died right in front of me, we were listning to Hootie, I can't get enough now. still makes me sad hearing it, but not as sad as not hearing it. I try to play at least one song everyday.
