I've been taking the same birth control for about three years, and i recently moved to the states and i have to change the brand! Bummer! I take the 21 pills so basically this week i got my period and on saturday i have to change my pill. should i wait or i can just start it after a week of not taking the old one!

you don't have to wait when switching ur b.c. they all pretty much are the same thing, just different names. except for the ones that u take and get a period once every 3 months, or the ones that shorten ur period. but there isn't anything wrong with just going ahead and starting a new one. i was on the shot for a year and started taking Yaz like right after and those were definatly two different kinds of b.c. good luck!!!
