Did the Enterprise series with Captain Archer come chronologically before Next Generation or after? And before or after Voyager? I've only just started watching Enterprise.

Hi,

Captain's list: Enterprise (post 2150 AD)

Captain ?? XCV - 330 (seen in original movie)
Captain Jonathan Archer NX-01
Captain Christopher Pike NCC-1701
Captain James T. Kirk NCC 1701 and “A”
Captain John Harriman NCC -1701 B
Captain Rachael Garrett NCC-1701 C
Captain Jean-Luc Picard NCC-1701 D and E

there is one other shot in the final TNG where NCC-1701 G is seen (extra warp nacell) Captian is Bev Crusher

NCC -1701 "J" is seen in Enterprise (time travel episode) but Captian is not identified

Enterprise is the prequel to the original Star Trek; Archer's Enterprise is the first Enterprise ship. In chronological order, they go: Enterprise, Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, Deep Space 9, Voyager, although there's overlap with TNG, DS9 and Voyager.

It actually comes before the original Star Trek series (with Captain Kirk). Then comes Star Trek The Next Generation; then Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space Nine.

Enterprise is considered the "first" in the series, even before the original Star Trek.

Enterprise is the first of the series chronologically (even before "Star Trek")

The chronology looks like this
1. Enterprise
2. Star Trek (TOS - the original series)
3. Star Trek: TNG
4. Deep Space Nine
5. Voyager

Hope this helps

Enterprise would be the very first series, chronologically. Archer is before Kirk!

This series is about the very first Enterprise ship. It precedes all of the other Star Treks.

If it is the show I'm thinking of - the one with Scott Bacula acting as the captain - this show is actually set even before the original Star Trek series, with William Shatner as captain.
