This will be for a St. Patrick's day parade. It is being put on by the National Federation of the Blind. They are promoting a benefit concert featuring the country band Heartland. Please Help! We need creative ideas. Photos would be great too.

Uh oh, will they (the National Federation of the Blind) be able to see the float?

It depends, are you trying to promote the concert benefiting the National Federation of the Blind, or really the concert and speaking about the organization?

What about saying something like "Just because you can't see the rainbow, doesn't mean there isn't a pot of gold" or something similar to talk about the good that those that are blind still have in their lives.

You can do a lot of great little things... gold chocolate "coins" in little pots. You can buy the cauldron pots that some kids use at Halloween to put them in and hand out during the parade.

You could also do "lend a helping hand" and have construction paper hands all around the float and then have people draw shamrocks on them?

Good luck! Throw in where this concert is, maybe you'll get Yahoo! people to go!

A huge four leaf clover standing out of the grass, among the smaller three leaf clovers. People dress in green and leprecaun-like costumes. Throw out the chocolates wapped in the paper that looks like gold. That would be awesome. :)
