Yes i live near the beach and their is a beautiful lighthouse.

Yes, I have seen many of them, including the Cape Hatteras lighthouse, which was moved about a third of a mile inland after I saw it. I have also seen lighthouses on the New Jersey and Florida coasts. I have had the opportunity to climb the stairs to the top of several of them, and they always have very nice views.

Yep. We went to Virginia Beach and could actually climb the old lighthouse. Also saw the new one. It was really a great experience! The view from the top was amazing!

Yeah. A little red lighthouse when I was 10 or so. It was open to people and it was so cool how the stairs in it went round and round. Then I had a picnic at the top! Fun!

Quite a few. I live in Michigan. We have more lighthouses than any state in the union. You may not believe that but it's true. It was a question on Jeopardy once.

yes.when I worked at a moving company I moved the commander who lived at the Nobska Lighthouse.
