I saw a lighthouse on Oak Island in North Carolina. It was the last one built in the U.S. in 1959.

Yeah i've been there and also to old baldie on baldhead island.. its right across the water from the oak island one.

I've been many times to the famous black and white lighthouse on Hatteras Island on the Outer Banks in NC. It is awesome to see up close. In 1999, it was actually lifted up and moved on a rail about a half mile inland because of beach erosion!

I toured old Cape Henry lighthouse at Virginia Beach, VA. The new Cape Henry lighthouse is still a working lighthouse and you are unable to tour it. I love lighthouses.

Yes..several around the great lakes..AND we stayed in one for a couple of days that a couple ran as a bed & breakfast. It is located near Houghton in Michigan ( above Wisconsin) no longer a working lighthouse..they bought it from the government

I went to Barnegat Lighthouse in Barnegat, NJ, on Long Beach Island. The next one on my list is Cape Hatteras.

I've seen the light house in the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. The southernmost most point in Africa. Was quite a nice place.
