She's getting the best of both worlds isn't she?

She hangs around with the popular girls even though she isn't one and then has old reliable to fall back on! She hasn't got the confidence to be one of the popular girls, but you make her feel safe.

Do you want to be a security blanket? Talk to her about it!!

Why would you want to be a mate to someone that isn't being a mate to you? Her abandoning of you while at school isn't something a mate would do. Yes it's okay to have other friends, but doesnt mean she can ditch you to hang out with more popular girls.

You need to sit down with your friend and ask her why when you're at school she does this? Is she hoping to attract the attention of one of the popular boys?

You also need to explain that this is unfair to you and you are finding it upsetting. She should not be treating you like this and don't let other people tell you that your being a good friend by sticking by her, you shouldn't stick by someone who is treating you like a doormat!

That is not a mate, you need to find yourself a true friend one that you can tell anything to and not have to worry about what is being said behind your back. If this was a true mate she would want you to hang around with her and the 'popular girls'.

Don't let yourself be treated like a doormat. She enjoys knowing you want to be her mate and just plays on the fact. There must be plenty of others in school, don't hang around waiting for her and hopefully when she decided to come back you'll genuinely have something on and no time for her.

if i was you i would just tell her straight that it is so annoying the way she ditches you at school. Then tell her that it is hurting your feelings and you feel like she is using you outwith school. Some friends will do this but for a good friendship to work out it is better to be honest with each other

Err tell her straight....just be like why do you hang round all these girls and then make me second best..you need to sort who your real friends are..along the lines of that basically and ask her whether she actually likes you and lets face it all girls are bitches so be prepared for the worst if she turns on you saying why are you asking this.

PEOPLE HAVE ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT MATES, BUT IT TAKES A BEST FRIEND TO STAY AROUND ALL THE TIME. DON'T LET IT BOTHER YOU, IF YOU STILL WANT TO BE HER MATE, YOU ARE THE BETTER PERSON. YOU WILL FIND YOUR BEST PAL.
