My mom dosnt work, she married my step dad for money and she sits home all day and watches tv. The house is a dump and is dirty than some trailer homes..

It depends on how far you will go...this is a touchy subject for most people....You can confide in a friend and stay where you are or a councelor....sometimes a councelor is required to provide that information to the state and if the state finds them unfit you would be removed from the house....Do you have another family member that you could go with in this case??? Its better to be able to live with family rather than foster care....If you think you want to get out of there right away then you need to contact the local child services office and turn them in.

talk to you your schools social worker or call your local social service departments if you feel uncomfortable in your situation.
Or call in directly into your local Child and Family Agency....

school councelor. they helped me out alot. and if you are 16 and you can support yourself you can get emancipated.
