i am sure the motherboard i am working on includes a onboard sound card, but the manual says something like that:

what does it mean? and do I have to connect any cables from the headers that is circled in green, in order to make my onboard soundcard work?

and a question about setting up bios... i am not doing any over clocking or something like that... is it ok to skip the work of setting up bios? because i am not very good at it, can i just jump to the installation of OS directly?
thx!!!!!

The header they are showing you is for connecting the front audio connectors of your case.

Say if you have a headphone or microphone connector on the front of your case, you would connect those to that header.

The BIOS defaults will work just fine. You generally do not even need to worry about it unless you like to tinker with various settings to get better performance.

That connection is for front audio ports on the case. It will not affect the sound card by not having it hooked up.
