Not responding if you can. If you have to answer, try something that will make others laugh without being mean or rude. This usually helps.
Example:
Person: Those of us that have a degree understand the advantages.
You: I know, I probably should have gone to college, but I guess the 4 years seniority here is not so bad. Good luck

talk very eloquently, no slang, no conjunctions, and speak only of what you know well. dont force a conversation about something you know little or nothing about. if the conversation floats that way, thn bring it back by saying well i'm not too familiar with that but i do know...... and just seem calm yet humble

OH MAN that is my biggest pet peeve!!! I hate people that do that! I myself haven't figured out a civil way to handle though... i usually shoot the stupidity right back at them..... i have a bad attitude though.... good luck!! try and keep your cool!!!

I usually look at them straight in the eyes and say 'ya I know.' Let them figure out what they're saying. I don't say it rudely, but I'm pretty firm on the response.
