It is a fact: we have to fight the one who threatens our peace to maintain the order of our society. Peace must be compromised by many sides. If we alone want peace, the other don't and we do nothing. We will have a peaceful life as slave for our enemies. Our national identity will be lost or our rights will never be respected again. After war is peace, after peace is war - we can never get rid of this cycle!

we are not going to war to get peace - we went for an invasion to get the OIL and power in the middle east. as was vietnam - its become a total quagmire and the results of this horrible miscalculation will affect us for years to come - IF we ever recover.... We have ruined our relationships with other countries and have gone into debt to the chinese and other nations.... we have ruined a once great nation. but I guess that is the way nations go....

Absolutely!!!
This reminds me of something I used to state while I was in the Army... at the time, I used to say, "Why does it take a communist, rank by seniority, where each soldier is literally, and I mean literally government property (that's in writing) to defend a free country."
