Totaly depends on the particular subject. But speaking personaly i regret saying more stuff than i regret not saying something.. Or perhaps, and this would be abit of both.. . is wish id said something that i later thought of and wish i hadnt said what i did at the time...

I've done a lot more of NOT speaking up and then wishing I had... so that seems worse to me. I've never said something really bad that hurt someone deeply, though. Otherwise I'd say that's worse, 'cause you can't take it back., and the person always remembers it.

Very good question... not an easy answer, but given the choice
my heart wants to say: Saying something and regret it later

I think it is worth the risk... Those that are afraid of making a mistake often are making a larger mistake by not saying what is in their heart and become frozen and unhappy, unsatisfied with their live and surroundings.

It is worse in my opinion, to say something and regret it later.

A person can always , if they feel the need, talk to someone in an appropriate way later.

A person can never take back anything, that he/she has already said.

Speak and regret is WAY harder for me personally to deal with than not speaking and wanting to.
