People decide to share more than just business emails with one another. Is there a program that someone from another facility in another state and city, be able to watch all the coming and going of emails. They even said that they could watch our IMs on the yahoo messager. how true is this?

So far I see all of you agree on the email thing, but how about the yahoo messager as it is happening and going back and forth.

yes it is VERY true, a new law, under the Homeland Security Act requires ALL companies to maintain records of all such communications.

BTW, NONE of your information, email, IMs, etc are PRIVATE when at work and can be used AGAINST you.........

Yep, this is entirely possible. Everything you email goes through the email server which keeps a record of everything send and received. It is possible to see anything and everything that someone is doing on their computer, if there is a good reason to.

yes this is true my company does this, it has to do with networking. This is a program that is loaded directly onto your pc. They do it trust me. You can even use yahoo and get into other pc's if they will let you. My brother gets into mine from another state and I see my mouse move as he repair certain asspects.
