i need to use my linksys router, but need the driver to install. i have no cd, and the linksys website doesnt offer ther driver any longer. ive tried searching and downlaoding from several places, and i keep getting some update to the router. i just need the plain old original driver download---anyhelp?!?

apparently a driver isnt needed. when i hook up both computers to it, neither will go online. must be a setting on both pc's?

I doubt that you need a driver for your router, if anything, you need a driver for the network interface on your PC! Your router will see the nic card or onboard network interface when you have the proper driver installed!

You do not need a driver for a router. Just plug into it and away you go. The update you are seeing is for the router's firmware, you probably don't need to update that.
