With the success of the Manhattan Proyect, in Alamo Gordo in New Mexico in February 1945, humanity began the Atomic Age.
Being the USA in war with Japan, and with the experience of Japanese being so fierce fighters. The USA High Command figured that taking the Japanese mainland would take the life of at least one million American soldiers. So being the obligation of any commander to take care of the life of the soldiers under his command, President Truman decided to go on with the bomb against Japan. Making Japan surrender, and saving the life of American soldiers, after dropping one bomb in Hiroshima and another in Nagasaki. on the 6th and 9th of august 1945, respectively.
