Stop whining and do something. Start with government. They have a huge carbon footprint. Why shouldn't they be the first to convert 100% to more efficient auto's, lighting, buildings, appliances, etc.
Then establish INCENTIVES, not fines and rules, to get folks to become more efficient. If it is this important that we cut back on carbon, then keep increasing the incentives until they are big enough to work.

The idea of Global Warming, or Climate Change is gaining more & more acceptance. Large corporations are being pressured into taking measures to cut down on emissions. People who previously poo-poo'd the idea of Global Warming are sitting up and listening now. Some people think it's too late to make any considerable changes. Some believe it's not too late. We can deny it all we want, turn a blind eye to it, but that won't stop it from happening. It's for real like it or not.

In the 60's, we were warned that global warming may happen, but it was decades away. Guess what, we are now decades later, and it is too late. The industrial revolution started 150 yrs ago, and so did global warming. The only way to heal 150 yrs worth of damage is to stop using fossil fuels for 300 yrs. Walk to work for 300 yrs, I don't think so.

I think it is ludicrous. While I am sure humans have an effect on the environment, I also know that when the Earth was covered in dense forest it was far warmer than it is today. We learn this in Elementary school when we learn about dinosaurs. Geological time is the key to understanding the climate cycles of the Earth. If you DO NOT have a science degree (like Al Gore) you should not be allowed to discuss this.

"Peace" has nothing to do with global warming, and to stop the "whining" we have to do something about the ozone layer. We should listen to what the scientists tell us what we can do(each one of us)and yes plant a tree or 3 or 4,stop using aerosol sprays, stop all the smog from factories, from cars, trucks, etc. Use recycling more and whatever else we can do and do it fast.

Just do what every religious organization does, hide it(like you)-ignore it-condone it-blame something/one else. Thank you for not trying to understand global warming, maybe when the garden of eden is found man will be on his last breathe. Could research a little about the South-East China smog, it's pretty bad out there but then again there aren't many christians either.

"Over population is the problem, to many people for the world to cope with. So we need to stop breeding quite so enthusiastically!! But maybe its too late. '
KUDOS! Indeed Rob has given you the correct answer alright but easier said than done what with Wall Streets appetite for short term gain fueled by expanding consumerism ergo expanding population ad infinitum.
Try this, Wait around with your thumb up your rear till you are paying 5 bucks a gallon for potable water in your mega complex metropolitan Condo and maybe then you won't be bothered so much about flack centered around draught, famine and flood out here in the boon docks.

Excellent question. Global warming is a politically engineered problem “deserving” a politically engineered “fix” in the brain child of the elites in the CFR, TC, and other organizations.
There is a very fine link between Capitalism and total Communism: the link is human lust for power. One is achieved through success in the free market and one with brute force. Do not get me wrong, I’m about as capitalist as you can get but, remember what Lord Acton said, “Power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely.” This is what government is doing right now. They are chipping away God givin rights through one of the many flanking maneuvers called “global warming.” In order to correct this, government asks us to not only acquiesce rights but hand those rights to an unelected, unaccountable world body called the UN. Naturally they are benevolent and incorruptible.
In the end, the only resolve to your question that I see it for the US to get out of the UN, mind our own business, educate our populous about the dangers of unchecked politicians and get back to Christian principles. Sadly, the latter will be the most difficult.

global warming is inevitable and the ones that are whining are the ones scared so they have to whine in order to get their point across. by the way i think this is another scheme for polititians to gain power by enforcing fear on people. by the way no matter how much CO2 we produce we have alot of trees that feed off of CO2 so in sense it balances out.
