It's called satire you bumbling buffons.
What he was doing was exposing other peoples ignorances.
It's exactly the sam approach that he used with His earlier Ali G character when conducting interviews.
The style was used in an even more contraversially hilarious fashion by the comic genius Chris Morris. Who also worked closely previously with Steve Coogan in "The Day to Day".
It's observational comedy on the next level. He sees their ignorance instead of pointing it out in a humorous fashion. He uses humour to expose it.
One of the few comedians out there who still has the guts to challenge society. Well done Mr Cohen!!

well first off your dumb for even thinking it was that good of a movie. I bet Cohen made went into that movie knowing it was going to suck, but the way this culture is something like that could actually make money..
Why are you singling out Christians about it anyway? Im a Christian and im pretty sure he mocked our beliefs just as much as jewish and other religions.
I agree with the first answer i have a great sense of humor but come on now.

I loved the movie but I can't imagine Borats' ten commandments. Most of them would relate to having sex with family members or animals...

Didn't watch it. Jews are good at humour though, probably as they've always been underdogs and humour's a good way to mock the mainstream - mainstream people can easily get into herd type behaviour. I used to be a Seinfeld addict.

Whats with all this Christian nonsense, this site is open to all so do not be so discriminatory. I have my own God and he would thoroughly disapprove your question, as being in poor taste to all these - what would YOU call US - HEATHENS!!!
