How do I go about finding a birth mothers name in Texas......Adopted parents are deceased and would not tell me and all documents destroyed.....Any ideas?

You would have to know how you were adopted. What I mean is were you adopted thru a state agency or thru a private lawyer. If thru the state, then ask for your non identifying information. If thru a lawyer, you would have to talk to that lawyer. Could be you could get a copy of their records since your parents are dead. Also, try getting a copy of your birth certificate. Sometimes the people who make the copies screw up and you get lucky and get the one with your birth parents information.

Try going through the Department of Children and Family Services, because they might have some other documents that are still good...have you tried asking other family members? Another thing that you can try is if you know the name try doing an online search to find the person and see what happens...good luck
