Certainly not Man Utd. Arsenal, Man City & Middlesbrough will have a lot of youngsters coming through within the next 10 years.

You can Hardly Call Arsenals Carling cup team a youth Team
Toure, Baptist, Rosicky, Adebayor, Hleb, Lehmann.
And the other half of the squad are regualar starters
Senderos, Eboue, Fabregas, Clichy
That leaves Walcott

It doestn count if you buy them from another team while they are still young, has to come through YOUR youth system

it is definately not Arsenal.. Spurs youth beat them 3-0..

probably West Ham

Over the last 20 years I would say Ajax (Bergkamp, Seedorf, Kluivert, the DeBoer brothers, Overmars etc). Anyone saying Arsenal is insane. Spending millions of pounds on 18-19 year olds from around the world (Walcott, Denilson etc) and pairing them up with expensive reserve signings (Baptista, Hleb, Rosicky, Adebayor) does not constitute an effective youth system.

Ajax have a pretty good youth system and are the best at nurturing talent. They constantly come up with good young players, such as De Jong, Heitinga, Sneijder, Babel and van der Vaart in recent times.

Arsenal have a good scouting system but not the best youth system. They merely pick the best youths from all around Europe but that just shows they are good at spotting talent early and buying players when they are cheap.

Arsenal are very successful at finding young players and making them better, but when it comes to developing/finding local talent we have not done so well at that. Ashley Cole(Chelsea) is the only star player to come through the ranks recently.

For bring in talented English youngsters and making them star players, West Ham is the best. Most of the current English players at Chelsea team were trained by West Ham (Frank Lampard, John Terry & Joe Cole). Rio Ferdinand & Michael Carrick who are at Man U. Rio's cousin Anton Ferdinand looks like a promising talent and he is still at West Ham. If they still had all these players, they would be unstoppable!

i agree arsenal have a good record of getting foreign youth and nurturing them to class players(i have no problem with that by the way),but i think a youth system goes from the school ages i.e 11 onwards and i would say crew have an awsome record for producing high level players (although not world class)on a very regular basis

The most respected coach is Dario Gradi at Crewe. Their academy has always been admired by people in the game. Gradi brought through David Platt amongst others, who are too many to name. Their system of bringing through youth players and selling them to bigger clubs has kept kept them going into liquidation.

West Ham's academy is probably the best in seeking local talent and bringing them through to professional level.

Arsenal have by far the best world scouting system meaning they can find top class youngsters easily e.g. Denilson and Clichy. In terms of developing english talent West Ham has to be the best as they have developed the likes of Lampard, Ferdinand and John Terry.
