We have overcrowded prisons, so we are now having to put prisoners on a prison ship. So why is this stupid government putting refugees who come over here stabbing and killing people into our prisons instead of deporting them back to their own country to be dealt with, instead of taking our taxes to pay for them. They'll be let out after doing less than half their sentence so they can kill somebody else. It makes my blood boil.

Well look at the recent incident where I think it was 4 suspected terrorist were arrested in either Somalia or Kenya. Our stupid Government then chartered a plane and flew them back to the UK only for them to be released into the community because it was decided there wasn't enough evidence. I completely despair with these bunch of buffoons in charge. They are incompetent through and through, they've the best years (the first 2-3) and now it's downhill all the way!!!!!!

ditto.
i'm also at boiling point over their lack of interest in protecting us.
b'liar has been so busy updating laws, reviewing sentences, toying with the justice system, new contracts 4 the police ( same as the NHS )
when they announced on news at ten, that there were not enough Police,
& even though we knew this was coming, we believed the Government would ensure we wouldn't need 2 feel threatened, unprotected & abandoned 2 the Scum
both domestic or foreign, over-stayed visitors visa, over-stayed student, liars who say they're under 18, etc etc.
guess we were expecting a bit 2 much thinking they'd put us first.
what may really get ur goat is that the Pitcairn Islands did not have a prison in which 2 inter those rapists.
so guess what the Government shipped a prison there. it cost us the UK tax-payers MILLIONS.
what excuse do they really think they have 4 not building a few more here?
THAT'S WHAT I WOULD REALLY LIKE 2 KNOW.

I will tell you whats wrong with this government. They are to soft, They copy America in every way except one. which is BRING BACK CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. starting from 15years upwards, then you would see a great change here. also stop allowing people who are not fit to be parents having children. If a woman has a child without a father allow one mistake if she has anymore stop benefits. Then and only then will you see a change. Stop all this human rights rubbish, If someone commits a serious crime forget the questions " Hang them " end of story.
They will never reform. Its the way they are. they are born bad.
I have not had an easy life but I do not steal, kill, or take drugs.
I was born good. But I'm not perfect.

I suggest we do as the Australians do - send the navy out to intercept before they land!
Or even better, go through the EU and demand that every EU country shares the number of refugees rather than have them all piled in here. Can't see the French or Germans liking that!

I'm with you, JazzyBee. This country just seems to be going downhill fast. In fact, it already has gone. There's so much spite, greed, hatred, crime and general madness that I wonder where it'll end.
Children out playing on their own at 11pm, kids shooting each other to death, drugs a regular part of everyday life on the streets and Tony Blair pretends to be blissfully unaware of any of it. It ain't appenin in TonyWorld.
Is there no politician - with a steel backbone - who can read the signs, hear the people and who'll offer the voter what the VOTER wants, not what the ponces in the government want to give us?

Every single person who voted Labour is responsible for the state of the country right now. I don't favour Cameron but I would certainly support him rather than having this scum get back in.

All governments are incompetent.
The only reason these people want power for themselves is so that they can make themselves and their croneys rich. They aren't interested in making the country a better place!
Do you honestly think that David Cameron would be any better? I think not.
You should do what 1,000 Brits do every day. Emigrate!!

So you'd have us return a murderer to his own country, without facing any punishment for his crime would you?
I presume you're talking about the Angolan refugee sentenced yesterday. You think that deportation to Angola is the fair punishment for two murders, while a British born person would get life imprisonment?
Just think before you ask silly questions.
EDIT
No Jazzybee, I don't think we should 'cater for all killing refugees'. I just think we should treat them equally under the law if they commit crimes in this country, which means that they serve their punishment in jail before we deport them to their country of origin. You seem to be saying that we shouldn't imprison them, just deport them straight away., which makes no sense whatsoever.
