That is usually my intentions but twice in the last few years my duaghter and I got lost in not so hot sections near down town Detroit. Both times a young African American woman helped us get to the right place.
But now that I think about it, I try to stay away from ANY section of a big city that I don't know, Ghetto or not.

Irvine doesn't have a ghetto. Come to think of it, there's really no ghetto in S. Orange County.

I stay away from the "ghetto" places, but I also try to stay away from the upscale places too.

haha i call my backyard the ghetto! But yes, normally I try and avoid places that are known to be rough.

I think most people try not to end up in the worst part of town, yet some people actually have to live in it....... but as usual, some of the retards on here equate "ghetto" as black.... how unfortunate

no, how would you know? funny thing is so many people come to Memphis to go to Graceland, and have no idea they're in one of the worst areas here!
