Since you reformatted, my next guess would be your provider or you have a bunch of people bootleggin on your connection! You might also have one of the people on your network usin them dumass P2P sites downloadin every friggin thing they can find and eating up your bandwidth! You didnt provide any details of your network!

first, is it only certain pages that are slow or is everything slow? usually the main thing that will make the internet run slow is a virus. some viruses try to connect to the internet so it would make your internet slow because it would take up too much bandwidth. so scan your computer for viruses. other than that, you can try cleaning up your computer and maybe even resetting yoru modem and router. good luck!

You could have a virus or spam. Or the Internet you have is experiencing technical difficulties. Maybe the internet just sucks and you should change.

Try running speed tests at several times throughout the day.
Go to http://www.dslreports.com/ and use their tools for doing it. Their tools also may be able to detect where there is a problem and you can compare your speeds to others on your local provider.

try a speed test on internet, yahoo or google it and you get a java based or ping based test to give you an idea of your speed. then speak to your ISP.
