When I was around 10 years old I saw my grandfather (plain as day) standing in the hallway of my grandmothers home. Unfortunatly, this was about 2 days after his funeral. So, I totally believe you. I stood there and looked at him for a moment. In my young little mind I thought that by some miracle of modern doctors that he had come back to life. He just stood there and looked at me, too. He had a creepy look to him, though. Not like I remembered him looking. I mean the expression on his face was scarey. When I finally started to approach him, he disappeared into thin air. My first cousin had a very similar experience some years later. It scared him so much that he would rarely visit my grandmother after the occurance. My cousin told me that he was spending the night with grandma and woke up in the middle of the night to an erie tapping noise. When he went to investigate he claims to have witnessed my grandfathers ghost standing outside the door tapping on the wall. Then he disappeared. I can't explain it. I know that in Native American religion if the spirit of a deceased relative is "bothering" you, then you can burn white candles with their names inscribed on them and their spirit is suppose to be lead to the otherside where they belong.

If it is your grandfather, you’re likely not in any danger. Without knowing exactly what’s happening, it’s hard to tell. If it’s something like the same apparition or sound, or even smell at the same time every day, or month it could be something as simple as a psychic “Echo” just energy left over. But as I said without knowing the specifics, it’s impossible to tell.

And don’t listen to the people saying you’re making it up, they just didn’t have anything constructive to add obviously, and it’s not satan, or any other demon. Some people…

If it's not bothering anyone, then there's nothing to be terrified of. What does your grandmother have to say about it? Is she hearing and experiencing these encounters as well?? If it's only happening to you, you are just a little more sensitive. If it really bothers you, try talking to it and tell "him" to go to the light and that everyone is safe (he's probably troubled and stayed behind)

Being haunted is just your Brain playing tricks on you. Even though it may seem life like, and incredibly strange, it is just your mind. If you believe that you are being haunted, your brain will go along with it, and only sense the movement and noises in you home that relate to a haunting. this will make you believe that someone is in your home. Keep in mind that your brain is smarter than you think, and it will always play tricks on you.

I investigate hauntings and in one case we recorded on a voice recorder a spirit saying "I am your uncle, I have known you since you were a child". In this case the homeowner thought the spirit may be her uncle and we were able to get proof that it was. Try recording and asking questions. Often voices can be heard on playback that aren't heard with the ear.

Leave out a a plate of cookies and a glass of milk. This generally appeases fictional entities. Works on aliens and Bigfoot too.

The best thing to do is to find out what he wants. Then you will have peace of mind. He may be trying to tell you something.
